Why this site reads differently

Every package here is written by the guide who walks it with you.

Most trekking pages are assembled from a spreadsheet by someone who has never walked the route. Ours start with the guide. A route goes on this site once the days are written out, the permit costs are checked against the current schedule, and the guide's name is on the page.

That is slower, and it is why the numbers here hold up when you compare them with any other operator.

01

Authored, not aggregated

Each itinerary carries the name of the guide who runs it, so you know who stands behind the plan.

02

Priced in the open

Permit fees, park charges and what sits outside the price are listed on every route page before you ask.

03

Checked against sources

Fees, rules and season notes are checked against park, tourism-board and weather-service sources, and dated.

Poon Hill Trek

Poon Hill in the next booking windows

November and December 2026, then March to May 2027, are the windows ahead. November and December are typically dry at Pokhara, with average rainfall of 17 mm and 12 mm (Pokhara 1991-2020 normals), and clear cold mornings at Ghorepani, where a late-December departure can meet frost or light snow on the viewpoint steps. March brings 64 mm, April 142 mm and May 355 mm, and haze often softens the far peaks in April and May. Rhododendron usually flowers in the forest in March and April. These are normal conditions, not a forecast, so confirm weather and trail status before you travel.

Druk Path Trek

The Druk Path from November 2026 into 2027

November closes the Druk Path season, and December to February is outside it. Thimphu, at 2,310 m, averages 19.7 C by day, 3.2 C at night and 1.2 mm of rain in November (Thimphu climate normals), and the camps above 3,600 m sit well below freezing at night. Spring 2027 opens in March, when Thimphu gets about 20 mm of rain, rising to about 50 mm in May before the monsoon. The SDF is fixed at USD 100 until 31 August 2027 (Nation Thailand, August 2026), so spring 2027 dates fall inside the announced rate and autumn 2027 dates do not. These are typical patterns, not a forecast.

Manaslu Circuit in November, December and spring 2027

November is typically the driest and clearest month of the autumn window, with colder nights at Samdo and Dharamsala as it goes on. Kathmandu, the nearest long-run station, averages about 6 mm of rain in November and 8 mm in December (1991-2020 normals), and the hills follow the same dry pattern. From December the Larkya La can close after any big snowfall and some high lodges shut, so we do not schedule winter departures. Spring 2027 typically opens with snow on the pass in March and settles into warmer, hazier weather in April and May. Most date problems start in the approach gorge. It flooded on 11 October 2026 and was running on temporary repairs at the end of October (Kathmandu Post, 25 October 2026). These are normal conditions, not a forecast. Confirm access before you book.
